Savannah High Welding Stars Shine at AGC-SkillsUSA Southeast Regionals!

November 13, 2025 – The School of Liberal Studies at Savannah High is beaming with pride after our talented welding students brought home top honors from the AGC-SkillsUSA Southeast Regionals!

First Place – Welding Fabrication Team Huge congratulations to Isaac Mendez, Zion Worthen, and Markus Pinckney for clinching 1st Place in the Welding Fabrication Team competition! Their precision, teamwork, and skill under pressure earned them gold medals and a massive check – a true testament to their hard work and dedication.

Third Place – Welding Individual A big shoutout to Hendryka Williams for securing 3rd Place in the Individual Welding category! Hendryka’s focus, technique, and passion for the craft shone through, earning her a well-deserved bronze medal.

These students represented Savannah High with excellence, proving that hands-on skills and determination lead to big wins. From the shop to the podium, they’ve set the bar high for future welders!
